Fashion, just like the arts, was a passion since my childhood. My fashion desires came from growing up wearing beautifully hand made clothes by my talented mother. Often receiving compliments from strangers on the street, I felt the power of beauty. I was inspired to express my individuality through creative work by designing my own clothes at the age of 7, even though my mother refused to let me use her scissors.   Knowing an aspiring designer cannot rely on her artistic talents alone to excel in the increasingly fast-paced modern world, I went on to study Business Information Technology in London.
